Apricot Jam Grandma’s Recipe: The Art of Making Homemade Jam.

This delicious jam is obtained by cooking fresh apricots with sugar and lemon juice until they thicken and take on a beautiful golden hue.
Grandma’s recipe Apricot Jam is a classic spread that many appreciate for its sweet and tangy flavor. This jam is versatile and can be used in many recipes, whether as a spread on toast, pancakes or just bread.

Component :

1 kg apricots
1 kg sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon

Preparation :

First of all, wash the apricots, cut them in half and make a hole in it.
Then cut them into quarters and keep them in a vessel.
Drizzle with the lemon juice and then add the sugar – you should use an equal amount of sugar for the apricots.
Stir everything with a wooden spoon and leave at room temperature for at least one night.
The next day, stir and then cook them on very high heat, stirring occasionally.
Take a spoonful of your cooking liquid, place on a very cold plate, it should be frozen.
Fill your sterilized jars with your jam, close and turn them upside down, then leave them at room temperature overnight.
