250 g flour
250 grams butter
180 g sugar
12 cl orange juice
2 tsp orange peel
1 vanilla pod
1.5 tsp baking powder
First of all preheat your oven to 180°, butter and flour a cake tin, cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise and collect the seeds.
In a bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until a foamy mixture forms, then add the vanilla seeds and orange peel and beat again.
Once your mixture is creamy, add the eggs – 1 by 1 – and beat after each addition. Then add the flour, a pinch of salt and the baking powder and beat in.
Then add your orange juice and mix to make a paste.
Pour your batter into the mold and pop it in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Finally leave to cool for a moment, sprinkle with icing sugar, cut and serve, enjoying the food to all.
