Fig and Almond Tart: Perfect Every Time

Fig and Almond Tart has been a popular dessert for generations, and it’s easy to understand why. The buttery pie crust is filled with a layer of creamy almonds, topped with fresh, juicy figs. The combination of these ingredients creates a harmonious blend of flavors that will leave you hungry.

Component :

1 shortcrust pastry
16 figs
120 grams ground almonds
40 g flour
100 g softened butter
100 grams castor sugar
3 egg yolks

Preparation of Fig and Almond Tart:

Firstly beat the butter and sugar in a bowl till you get a creamy mixture.
Then add the egg yolks – 1 by 1 – beating after each addition.
Mix the flour and ground almonds and beat until creamy, wrap the salad bowl and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180°, roll your dough into a buttered pie pan and pierce the bottom with a fork, then wash and cut the figs in half.
Take your salad bowl out of the fridge, spread your preparation on the dough in an even layer and place your figs on top of that.
Then put your mold in the oven to cook for 30 minutes.
Finally, serve your pie for dessert and enjoy your meal.
