Caramel Apples: Easy and Quick Dessert!

Caramel apples are a fall and winter classic. They are easy to prepare and always a hit at parties.
A very easy and simple to prepare dessert that will surely be a hit at your next get together with friends.

Component:

5 apples
250 g sugar
12 cl water
24 cl of 35% fat cream
1 tsp salt
60 grams chopped walnuts, almonds and pistachios

Preparation :

First wash your apples, insert a wooden stick into each apple and put them in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
Put the sugar in a vessel and add salt and pour it over the water.
Place the pan over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
Then cook on medium-low heat for 15 minutes, without stirring, until the mixture turns the color of honey.
Once your caramel is done, slowly pour the cream over the top and cook on medium-low heat, stirring with a spatula, for 5 minutes.
Take the pan off the heat, let it cool for a moment, dip your apples in it, and then place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Sprinkle them with your garnishes and then pop them in the fridge until ready to serve, Bon Appetit everyone.
