For the Shortcrust Pastry:

– 600 grams of flour
– 240 grams castor sugar
– 180 grams butter
– 2 eggs
– Salt

For Garnish:

– 4 apples
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
– 1 tbsp butter
– 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1 egg yolk


Dough preparation:

First beat the egg with sugar and salt, and melt the butter a little – it shouldn’t be thin, just soft.
Then put all purpose flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle and after softened butter add the egg mixture.
Knead the dough by mixing all the things by hand and cut the dough into two parts.
Roll out dough on a work surface, then lower two dough pieces separately, keeping one whole and cut the other into pieces of dough.
Put butter and flour in a round pie pan, spread all over dough inside – bottom and sides – prick down with a fork then heat your oven to 180°.
