Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake, an extremely soft and delicious cake, here is an easy recipe for at home and for the whole family.


– 250 grams flour
– 180 grams of sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1 pot of plain yogurt
– 12 cl oil
– 1 tsp butter
– Juice and juice of 1 lemon
– 1 tbsp poppy seeds
– Salt
– fine sugar


Firstly, preheat your oven to 200°, butter the cake tin well with 1 tsp of butter, combine the flour and baking powder in a large bowl.
Then in a large bowl using your mixer, beat both the eggs along with the sugar and 1 pinch of salt.
Gradually beat on medium to high speed until your egg and sugar mixture is white.
Then pour oil in a thin stream and add lemon juice and then lemon juice to it.
Add curd, all purpose flour and poppy seeds and mix everything with a spoon to make a paste.
Then pour your dough into the mold and put it in the oven to cook for 25 minutes.
At the end of cooking – insert the tip of a knife into the cake to check that it is cooked through, that it comes out clean – let cool and then unmold.
