Soft breaded brioche with poppy seeds is a real delight for your breakfast or snack, here is an easy recipe for both at home and for the whole family.


– 500 grams flour
– 20 cl milk
– 125 g butter
– 80 grams of sugar
– 20 grams baker’s yeast
– 3 egg yolks
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tbsp poppy seeds


Firstly, in a saucepan, heat the milk on medium heat and in a large bowl beat 3 egg yolks.
Once the milk is hot, take 4 tbsp, put them in a bowl, add the crumbled yeast, mix and let stand for 12 minutes.
Put the flour, salt, sugar, 3 egg yolks, yeast mixture, milk and butter in crumbs in the bowl of your robot and then knead them with the robot hook.
Once your dough separates from the walls, form a ball, cover it and let it rest for 90 minutes so that it doubles in volume.
Roll out the dough on a work surface and make your dough well ventilated and divide it into two balls and shape 2 sausages.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, braid the sausages, seal the ends, and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180°, then whip the remaining egg yolks, brush your brioche, and sprinkle poppy seeds on it.
Then put your baking sheet in the oven for 25 minutes.
