Easy Tropezione Tart, a delicious creamy cake for your dessert or breakfast, you will surely love it, here is the easy recipe at home.

Component:

For Pie:

– 250 grams flour
– 50 grams butter
– 25 grams sugar
– 1 tsp baker’s yeast
– 12 cl milk
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp orange blossom
– Salt

for cream tropezien ,

– 16 cl of liquid cream
– 40 cl milk
– 150 grams of butter
– 100 grams of sugar
– 45 grams cornstarch
– 1 vanilla bean
– 2 egg yolks

Preparation:

Preparing the Pie:

First add all purpose flour, add crumbled yeast, mix with a spoon or by hand and add a pinch of salt followed by sugar.
Then add 1 egg, milk, orange blossom and blend everything in your food processor on medium speed for 10 to 12 minutes.
Then add the butter and keep stirring on medium speed for 10 minutes.
Let your dough sit in the bowl for 60 minutes, then remove it by hand and let it rest for another 60 minutes.
Place your dough in a buttered round pie dish and let stand for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180°, crack another egg, brush with flour and put in the oven to bake for 20 minutes.

Preparation of Tropezian Cream:

First keep the liquid cream in the fridge and cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise with the tip of a knife and remove the seeds.
Pour milk into a saucepan, add the pods and vanilla seeds and bring to a boil after removing the pods from the fork.
Meanwhile, using your mixer, beat the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl.
Once your mixture turns white, add cornstarch and continue whisking on medium speed.
Pour over 1/3 of your hot milk, mix with whisk then pour the contents of the salad bowl into the saucepan of milk and whisk with the whisk.
Return the pan to low heat and cook, stirring with a whisk, until the cream thickens.
Then film the pan and let the cream cool.
In a large salad bowl, beat the butter on medium speed, then pour the contents of the saucepan over the top, whisking in 2 to 3 batches.
Then fillet your salad bowl and let it cool in the fridge.
Using your mixer, beat the cold liquid cream in a bowl on medium speed and then mix it with the other cream using the spatula.

Assembly of Tropezione Tart:

Once your pie has cooled, cut it in half to make two round pies.
Spread your cream on one half and put the other half on top and let cool.
Finally, you have your easy Tropezione tart, sprinkle it with icing sugar, cut and serve… good appetite everyone.
