Easy and Gourmet Tuna and Caper Quiche, a delicious pie for your main course, here’s an easy recipe for at home and for the whole family.


For the Shortcrust Pastry:

– 200 grams flour
– 125 g butter
– 1 young egg
– Salt

For Garnish:

– 1 can of tuna
– 200 grams grated cheese
– 3 eggs
– 100 grams capers
– 16 cl milk
– Salt
– Chilly


Preparation of Shortcrust Pastry:

First of all, take out the flour in a vessel, put the butter in pieces and mix it with your hands.
Then add egg yolk with a pinch of salt and keep mixing, you can add little water if needed to make a soft dough.
Make a ball out of your dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180° and butter a pie pan, flour a work surface, and then roll out your dough with a rolling pin.
Then spread your dough into the mold, bottom and sides, prick the bottom with a fork and put in the oven to cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
Allow your dough to cool slightly at the end of cooking.

Filling Preparation:

First, filter the tuna and crumble it by hand.
Then beat the egg with milk in a bowl and add a pinch of salt and pepper using a whisk.
Spread 100 grams of cheese on the dough and place the crumbled tuna and capers on top.
Then sprinkle the remaining paneer i.e. 100 grams of everything and pour your mixture on top.
Then put your mold in the oven to cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
