Rice and Chole, a delicious dish for dinner tonight, here you will find the ingredients to make this dish easily at home and with your cooks.


– 250 grams rice
– 400 grams chickpeas
– 300 grams chopped tomatoes with juice
– 450 grams of artichoke hearts
– 1 yellow onion
– 50 cl vegetable broth
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tbsp ground cumin
– 1/2 tsp dry carom seeds
– 1/4 bunch coarsely chopped fresh oregano
– 1 lemon cut into wedges
– Salt
– Chilly


One day before preparation:

Soak the chickpeas overnight in a saucepan filled with water.

Recipe day:

First wash the rice, peel and chop the onion, chop the garlic cloves, cut the artichoke hearts into quarters, remove the chickpeas.
Then brown the onion and garlic in the skillet of your cook with the oil for 4 minutes.
Then put rice on top and keep it in browning mode, stirring continuously for 2 minutes.
Then add the chickpeas, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper and broth and mix everything again.
Then start cooking rapidly – under the pressure of your cooks – for a period of 6 minutes.
Finally you have your dish of rice and chickpeas in coco, sprinkle with parsley and lemon wedges and serve everyone with a good appetite.
