Chicken curry and split peas ww, a delicious dish for dinner tonight, weight loss recipes, easy and for the whole family, try it.

Ingredients for 4 people – 1 sp per person.

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 100 grams yellow split peas
  • 3 yellow onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 60 cl water
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 50 grams cilantro sprigs for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon salt


The day before preparing this recipe:
First of all, take out the peas in a vessel and cover it with water and keep it to soak overnight.

Recipe day:
Drain the split peas, then season the chicken thighs with paprika, turmeric and salt, chop the onion and garlic.
Put 2 tsp in a vessel and heat it on medium flame and fry the ginger while stirring it for 2 minutes.
Then add chopped onion with pepper and keep stirring with wooden spatula for 4 minutes.
Add garlic with 2 bay leaves, reduce the heat and stir for 4 more minutes then put everything in a bowl.

Wash and dry the utensil, add 1 tsp oil, keep it on medium flame and brown the chicken for 3 minutes.
Pour the contents of the bowl over the top, add the water and bring to a boil, then simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then add chopped peas, curry, garam masala and cook for 45 minutes.

If your sauce is too thick, add a little water during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Remove ginger and bay leaves, sprinkle green coriander and serve your dish.
