For French Toast:

– 1 french toast or a brioche
– 4 eggs
– 50 cl milk
– 100 grams of sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– Salt

For the Salted Caramel:

– 100 grams of sugar
– 8 cl water
– 12 cl of heavy whipping cream
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 2 bananas


Preparation of French Toast:

First of all, preheat your oven to 180°, grease a square plate with butter and cut bread or brioche into cubes, place them on a plate.
Then in a large bowl beat the eggs lightly, add milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt and keep whisking.
Pour your mixture over the bread cubes—use your hand to soak everything—then bake for 40 minutes.

Preparation of Caramel:

Firstly, put sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, pour water over it and cook without stirring for 10 to 12 minutes, until an amber color is obtained.
Heat the cream lightly and then pour it into the caramel and mix and remove the pan from the heat.
