Real New York Cheesecakes, a dessert you’re sure to love, have an easy at-home recipe.

Ingredients: for 6 people

to base:

– 250 grams cookies
– 100 grams butter

For Cream:

– 500 g cream cheese
– 12 cl fresh liquid cream
– 60 grams sugar
– 25 grams cornstarch
– 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
– juice of 1/2 lemon
– 1/2 vanilla bean


Base preparation:

First melt butter in a saucepan… Let cool, line springform pan with baking paper.
Then crush the cookies in the bowl of your food processor and pour into the salad bowl.
Pour melted butter over the top then mix with a spoon and place in the mold, pressing down and on the sides.
Put your mold in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Preparation of cream:

In a bowl add eggs and egg yolk, sugar and beat.
Then add the vanilla seeds and cream cheese while whisking.
Add lemon juice, cornstarch and continue whisking after adding the cream and mix everything together with a spatula.

Assembling the Cheesecake:

Take your mold out of the freezer and then pour your cream on top and put in the oven at 160° for 60 minutes.
Then go to 180° and keep cooking for 20 minutes.. Before serving, keep it in the freezer for 2 hours and let it cool.
