Orange Pancakes, a real treat for your afternoon snack, here you will find the easiest recipes to make it at home.


For Pancakes:

– 120 grams of flour
– 24 cl milk
– 25 grams melted butter
– 2 tbsp icing sugar
– 1 egg + 1 egg yolk

For the Orange Chutney:

– 2 oranges
– 2 tbsp orange liqueur
– 50 grams unsalted butter
– 110 grams of sugar
– 16 cl orange juice


Preparation of Pancakes:

Firstly, in a large bowl mix all purpose flour and icing sugar and make a well in the center.
Add eggs and egg yolks then slowly pour in milk, mixing with spatula.
Then add butter and knead all the ingredients into a smooth dough.
Heat a pancake pan over high heat then remove the pan and reduce the heat to medium.
Brush your pan with some butter and put it back on the heat, add 2 tbsp your flour and cook for about 30 seconds.
Flip the pancakes and cook for another 10 to 15 seconds, repeating the same operation with the rest of the dough.

Preparation of Sauce:

First, grate the peel of two oranges finely, cut the orange into slices and later cut it into semi slices.
Put orange pieces in a bowl and mix orange liqueur on top.
Melt butter in a pan then add sugar, zest and orange juice and stir on low heat till sugar dissolves.
Let it boil for 6 to 7 minutes then add the mixture of orange pieces and cook on medium heat for 1 minute.
Fold the pancakes in four and then sprinkle with your sauce.
Finally presenting your Orange Pancakes, serve and good appetite to all.
