Magic and soft vanilla cake, which is a delight for your dessert or for your cup of coffee, here is an easy recipe at home.


– 125 grams flour
– 1 vanilla bean
– 120 grams butter
– 120 grams of sugar
– 50 cl milk
– 4 eggs
– 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
– 1 tbsp water
– Salt
– fine sugar


First, cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise, remove the seeds.
Then heat the milk with the vanilla pod and seeds in a saucepan and leave for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl add the sugar, vanilla sugar and water to the egg yolks and then beat them with your mixer on medium speed.
Preheat your oven to 160° and butter the cake mold.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and then pour it into the egg mixture, whisking with a whisk.
Then add flour with a pinch of salt, whisk the milk afterwards – use a sugar – while still whisking.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites with a mixer to stiff peaks and then add them in while mixing with the spatula.
Pour your dough into the mold and place it in the oven to bake for 40 minutes.
Let it cool for a while and then put your mold in the fridge for 2 hours.
Lastly, your magical and soft Vanilla Cake, sprinkle icing sugar on top, cut and serve… Everyone has a good appetite.
