Grandma’s easy madeleine, a soft treat for your afternoon snack, here’s an easy recipe at home.
Ingredients: For 20 Madeleines
– 125 grams flour
– 100 grams of sugar
– 75 grams butter
– 3 eggs
– zest of 1 lemon
– 1/2 a sachet of baking powder
– Few drops of orange flower water
– Salt
– fine sugar
Preparation:
First preheat your oven to 180°, butter and flour your silicone madeleine mold, melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool.
Then in a bowl beat the eggs, sugar and a pinch of salt with a mixer on medium speed.
Pour the flour and baking powder mixture over the top, whisk then add the melted butter and continue whisking.
Then add lemon zest and orange blossom water, knead again and spread your dough into the mold and put in the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
Finally presenting Grandma’s Easy Madeleine, sprinkle with icing sugar, serve and everyone has a good appetite.
