Egg tarts are a delight for your instant family lunch, here you will find the easiest recipe to make it at home.

Component :

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 100 grams fresh cream
  • 1 tsp chopped chives
  • 50 grams grated Cheddar or Emmental cheese
  • 4 bacon slices – each cut into 4 pieces
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 eggs
  • Chilly

Preparation:

First preheat your oven to 180° and line 2 trays with aluminum foil – so the dough doesn’t stick.
Roll out the dough on a work surface, then roll out your dough and cut it into 4 rectangles and transfer 2 rectangles to each plate.
Use a utility knife to mark the inner rectangle about 1 cm from the edges, but do not cut completely.
This helps the dough fluff up around the edges. Then brush the edges with a little milk.

Then mix the crme frache with the grated cheese and chives, then spread over the central rectangle of each tart.
Then cut the cherry tomatoes into slices and put 4 pieces of bacon on top and in the middle and put them in the oven to cook for 10 minutes.
Near the end of cooking, use a spoon, pushing the bacon and tomatoes to the sides to make a well in the middle of each pie.
Then crack an egg into each tart and return the plates to the oven for 8 minutes to cook.
