- 250 grams rice
- 12 cl of whole milk
- 35 grams sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- Mango pieces – or fruit of your choice.
Firstly, soak the rice in a saucepan filled with water overnight or for at least 3 hours.
Then wash the soaked rice until the water runs clear and place it in a stainless steel basket, placing the basket over a saucepan with boiling water.
Then cook for 20 minutes until soft and translucent – after 10 minutes of cooking, turn the rice once.
While cooking, heat milk, sugar and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves – bring to a boil.
Then put the rice in a bowl and pour 3/4th milk from above, mix, cover and keep it for 20 minutes so that the rice absorbs the milk.
Then add cornstarch to the remaining milk and heat until it thickens.
Divide your rice between bowls, then turn them over onto your plates, sprinkle with the rest of the milk and sprinkle with corn flakes.
