Easy Chocolate Christmas Log, Party Soon Make this delicious cake at home, here’s an easy recipe at home.

Component:

For the Sponge Cake:

– 125 grams flour
– 100 grams of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 25 grams cocoa powder
– Salt

– 150 grams dark chocolate
– 50 grams of sugar
– 3 eggs

For the Chocolate Icing:

– 125 grams dark chocolate
– 12 cl of liquid cream

Preparation:

Preparation of Sponge Cake:

First preheat your oven to 180° and line a plate with baking paper, separating the whites from the yolks, for 3 eggs.
In a bowl, using your mixer, beat 3 egg yolks with the fourth egg and 50 grams of sugar.
Pour the flour on top, add a pinch of salt along with the cocoa and continue whisking on medium speed.
In another bowl, beat 3 egg whites with a mixer until stiff with the remaining 50 grams of sugar.
Put the egg whites in the bowl of flour and stir with the spatula and then pour your dough onto the baking sheet.
Spread your dough with the spatula on the baking sheet and then put it in the oven to bake for 12 minutes.
At the end of cooking, invert the sponge cake on a clean tea towel, remove the baking paper and then roll up the sponge cake and let it cool.

Preparation of Chocolate Mousse:

First separate the white from the yolk of 3 eggs in two salad bowls, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Then using your mixer beat the egg yolks with the sugar and in another bowl beat the whites to stiff peaks.
Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl of the yolks, mix with the spatula and then add the egg whites and mix with the spatula.
Film your salad bowl and then put it in the fridge for 60 minutes.
Then take your sponge cake out of the fridge, unroll it, spread your chocolate mousse on top.
Roll it out again and cut off the ends with a large knife.

Preparation of Chocolate Icing:

Firstly, heat the cream in a saucepan on medium heat.
Cut the chocolate into pieces, put them in a salad bowl, then pour the hot cream over the top and stir with a spatula to melt the chocolate.
Film your salad bowl and keep it in the fridge long enough that your icing is soft and not hard.
Then spread your icing over the log and put it back in the fridge until it’s ready to serve.
