Coconut and Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are a delight to have with your cup of afternoon tea, here’s an easy recipe at home.

Component:

– 125 grams oatmeal
– 25 grams dry coconut
– 200 g dark chocolate
– 100 grams flour
– 150 grams soft brown sugar
– 125 grams butter
– 2 tbsp maple syrup
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 2 tbsp boiling water

Preparation:

First preheat your oven to 180° and line a plate with baking paper.
Then, in a bowl, mix the oatmeal with the flour, brown sugar and coconut.
In a saucepan, melt the butter with sugar syrup into pieces and mix the yeast with boiling water in a glass.
Pour the mixture of two butter and water into the bowl and then mix everything with a spoon.
Then make small balls from your mixture, place them on a baking sheet and flatten them with your hands.
Then put your baking sheet in the oven to bake for 12 minutes and let it cool on the rack.

To melt the chocolate:
First, cut the chocolate into pieces and take them out in a big bowl.
Then either place it over a saucepan with boiling water and stir to melt it, or you put it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

Once your cookies are cool, dip half of them in the melted chocolate and leave to harden on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
