Chiffon Cake, a delicious ultra soft orange mousseline cake for your afternoon snack, here is an easy recipe at home.


– 300 grams flour
– 300 grams of sugar
– 6 eggs
– 16 cl water
– juice of 2 oranges
– 12 cl oil
– 1 sachet of baking powder
– Salt


First preheat your oven to 160°, separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Then beat the egg whites in a bowl with a pinch of salt using your mixer to gradually increase it on medium speed…keep aside.
Then in another bowl using your mixer on medium speed beat the egg yolks with the oil and water.
Pour the flour, baking powder, orange juice on top and mix everything on medium speed until a paste is obtained, then add the egg whites and mix with a spatula.
Pour your dough into the mold and place it in the oven to bake for 75 minutes.
At the end of cooking, unwrap the cake – by sliding a knife between the sides of the cake and the mold – and let cool.
