Apple and Almond Cake – A delicious soft cake for your afternoon snack or snack, here is the easy recipe at home.


For Apple Cake:

– 150 grams of flour
– 4 apples
– 100 grams of sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 3 tbsp sour cream
– 1 tsp almond extract or vanilla extract

For the Almond Filling:

– 50 grams cane sugar
– 3 tablespoons melted butter
– 4 tbsp flaked almonds
– 1 egg


Preparation of apple cake:

First, peel the apple, remove the seeds and cut it into slices and put them in a salad bowl.
Then preheat your oven to 180° and butter a springform pan.
Then in a bowl beat the eggs with sugar with a mixer on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Then add cream and keep whisking for 1 minute.
In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder and then mix them with the almond extract — or vanilla — into the egg mixture, mixing everything together with a spatula.
Place half of the apple pieces at the bottom of the mold and then pour half the dough on top.
Then arrange the rest of the apples on top and cover with the rest of the dough.
Then put your mold in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.

Preparation of Almond Filling:

First, beat the egg with the help of a whisk in a bowl with sugar.
Then pour the melted butter over the top and keep whisking for another 30 seconds.

At the end of cooking, take out your mold, spread your mixture on top and sprinkle sliced ​​almonds with 1 Tbsp sugar.
Then put your mold back in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
