Weight Watchers Bucket Chicken Curry. A delicious Indian dish for your main meal, a WW recipe, easy and for the whole family, try it.

Ingredients for 4 people – 1 sp per serving.

For the Baileys Dough:

  • 2 onions
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

For Chicken:

  • 450g shredded chicken breast
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 15 cl of chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp chili
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 red – yellow – orange peppers
  • handful chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 chicken stock cube

Preparation:

Preparation of Balti Paste:
First start by chopping the onion, garlic and ginger.
Then fry the onion, garlic and ginger on high flame while stirring it with a spoon.
When the onions are golden, add the contents of the pan along with the turmeric, chili, paprika, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, pepper and tomato paste to the bowl of your blender.
Mix all the ingredients for kneading the dough, then take out your dough in a bowl and keep it in the fridge.

Preparation of Chicken Curry:
Firstly put the chicken pieces in a bag, pour 4 tbsp of balti paste on top, mix and keep in the fridge for 60 minutes.
Cut the peppers into strips and core them, remove the white parts and set them aside.
Put a little oil in a pan, then fry the cinnamon stick and red chili while stirring for 2 minutes.
Then add 4 tbsp of balti paste on top, mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Then add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, cube of broth, mix everything and bring to a boil.
Make the flame medium. Add chicken pieces and peppers and then cook for 15 minutes.
Then adjust the seasoning, add garam masala and fresh cilantro and cook for another 3 minutes.
