Plum jam, which is a seasonal delight to eat with your roti, is an easy recipe at home here.

Component:

– 2 kg plums
– 1.2 kg sugar
– juice of 1 lemon
– 6 cm. of 1 cinnamon stick

Preparation:

First wash the plums and make a pit in it and cut them into 4 pieces.
Then place 1/3 of the top on the bottom of a pot, sprinkle 400 grams of sugar and alternate layers of plums and sugar.
Pour lemon juice over the top and let it stand overnight.
The next day put cinnamon sticks on top and then bring everything to a boil, stirring with a spoon, to cook on high flame for 20 minutes.
Finally you have your plum jam, pour into jars, close them and turn them over.
