Light and airy biscuit, a soft and well puffed cake for your afternoon snack, here is an easy recipe at home.
Component:
– 250 grams flour
– 18 cl of whole milk
– 1 tbsp baking powder
– 90 g very cold unsalted butter – put in the freezer for 10 to 20 minutes
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
First preheat your oven to 180° and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Then in a large bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and salt and mix.
Then add butter in very small cubes and mix everything by hand.
Then pour milk from above and mix all the things with a spoon – if your dough is roasting, then add a little flour and mix it.
Roll out the dough on a work surface then flatten your dough by hand, fold it over and flatten again, repeating this operation 5 to 6 times.
Then use round cookie cutters, cut out your cakes and place them on the baking sheet and make one ball with the rest of the dough, flatten it and make another.
Then put your baking sheet in the oven for 12 minutes, until the top is lightly golden.
