Easy Tomato Tart, a classic of French cuisine, a baking dish for your main meal, here is an easy recipe at home.

Component:

For the dough:

– 250 grams flour
– 150 grams of butter
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 4 tbsp water or milk

For Garnish:

– 4 tomatoes of different colors
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt
– Chilly

For Pesto:

– 6 cl of olive oil
– 1 bunch of parsley
– 1 bunch of basil
– 10 sprigs of thyme – leaves only
– 3 cloves of garlic
– 50 grams grated Parmesan plus more for garnish
– 60 grams flaked almonds
– juice of 2 lemons
– 2 tbsp lemon juice
– Salt
– Chilly

Preparation:

Dough preparation:

First of all, in a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and butter by hand for 3 minutes.
Then add water – or milk, depending on your preference – and keep mixing to form a paste.
Make a ball out of your dough, roll out the dough on a work surface, then roll it out with a rolling pin.
Roll out your dough into a pie pan — bottom and sides — then cut off excess dough along the top edges and prick the bottom with a fork.
Film your mold and then put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 180°, remove cling film, place a sheet of baking paper over the dough, placing the dried beans on top as a weight.
Place your mold in the oven for 15 minutes, then remove the dried beans and baking paper and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
Take out your mold and let the dough cool to room temperature.

Preparation of pesto:

First, put the parsley, basil, oregano, garlic, Parmesan, almonds, lemon zest and lime juice in the bowl of your food processor.
Then mix all the ingredients on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes and make a paste.
Then add oil in a trickle and keep stirring on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Then spread your pesto on the dough with the help of a spatula.

Preparation of Tomatoes:

First wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices.
Then sprinkle oil on them and sprinkle salt and pepper.

Place the tomato slices on top of the pesto and then put your mold in the oven to cook for 40 to 45 minutes.
Towards the end of cooking, sprinkle your pie with grated Parmesan just before serving.
Finally, here’s your easy tomato pie, to serve and a good appetite for everyone.
