Easy Rhubarb Pie, a delicious dessert of the season, here I show you how to make it at home.


For the dough:
– 180 grams flour
– 75 grams butter
– 75 grams of sugar
– 3 egg yolks

For Garnish:
– 400 grams rhubarb
– 3 tbsp sugar
– 2 tsp cornstarch
– peel of 1 orange


Dough preparation:
Firstly preheat your oven to 180°, put butter on a round tart mold.
Then in a bowl, make breadcrumbs by mixing flour and butter by hand or with a fork.
Add sugar and egg yolk on top, then mix everything by hand to make a paste.
Form a ball with your dough, flour a work surface and roll it out with a rolling pin to form a circle.
Spread it across the mold – the bottom and sides – using your fingers then cut off the excess parts with a knife.
Place a sheet of baking paper on top of the dough with the dried beans and put in the oven to cook for 5 minutes.
Take out the mold, remove the parchment weight and sheet and bake in the oven for 12 minutes.

Preparing the Rhubarb Filling:
First wash the stem of rhubarb and cut it into cubes.
Then put them in a salad bowl, top with sugar, cornstarch and orange zest and mix everything together.
Then put them in the oven to bake for 35 minutes and spread them evenly over the dough.
Finally, here’s your easy rhubarb pie, to serve and a good appetite for everyone.
