Khachapuri, a delicious and essential Georgian bread, a recipe for art and Georgian cuisine, ideal to accompany your dishes

Ingredients for 4 persons.

– 400 grams flour
– 300 grams mozzarella or feta cheese
– 16 cl milk
– 4 eggs
– 1 packet of baker’s yeast
– 3 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 tsp salt

Preparation:

First, put milk in a pan, keep it on medium heat to heat a little.
Then add sugar and yeast on top, mix and let stand for 12 minutes.
Pour your mixture into a bowl and then add 3 extra flours on top and mix with a spatula.
After adding oil and salt, mix by hand to make a paste and then cover your salad bowl and leave it for 60 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
After 60 minutes, flour on a work surface, knead your dough then cut it into 4 pieces and lower each piece with a rolling pin to make a circle.
Fold the sides of each dough ball into an oval shape, then break the cheese into equal parts and put in the oven for 12 minutes.
Take out your plate and crack an egg on each loaf of bread and put back in the oven for 6 minutes.
Finally here is your khachapuri, serve and good appetite to all.
