Weight Watchers Tuscan White Beans. A delicious meat dish for dinner tonight, a WW recipe, easy and for the whole family, try this.
Ingredients for 6 people – per serving 3 sp.
- 600 grams of beef
- 450 g canned white beans
- 400 grams chopped tomatoes
- 36 cl of beef broth
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 stalks of celery
- 2 carrots
- 4 mushrooms
- a pinch of dry mixed herbs
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme.
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt
- Chilly
- fresh parsley
Preparation:
First cut the beef into cubes, chop the onion, garlic, cut the celery into pieces, chop the carrots, wash the beans.
Then after browning the meat pieces with salt and pepper, heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat and set aside.
Then add onion, garlic, carrot, celery and fry for 4 to 5 minutes while stirring with a spoon.
After vinegar, add 10 cl broth, stirring always over medium heat, then add rest of broth, mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs, thyme, onion powder.
Then bring to a boil and cover the pan and simmer for 90 minutes, after 70 minutes add the beans.
Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and then add them to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Then serve hot and sprinkle with parsley.
