Moroccan Style Chicken with Olives at Cookio, a delicious addition to your main meal, Here you will find the ingredients to easily make this dish at home and with your cooks.
Component:
– 1 chicken – about 1.5 kg
– 2 onions
– 50 grams chopped carom seeds and coriander
– 1 candied lemon
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp turmeric
– 1 tsp grated ginger
– 2 tsp chili puree – harissa
– 1 clove minced garlic
– 1 pinch saffron
– Olive Oil
– 2 cinnamon sticks
– 12 cl water + 25 cl hot water
– Salt
Preparation:
First, mix parsley, coriander, black pepper, turmeric, ginger, harissa, chopped garlic in a salad bowl.
Then after emptying the lemon from above, cut its pieces and add a pinch of saffron to it and pour 12 cl of water from above.
Mix then place your chicken in the marinade, add 2 cinnamon sticks, coat the chicken and let stand for 2 minutes.
Slice 2 onions, then brown them with a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt in your cookie bowl for 2 minutes, stirring with a spatula.
Add your chicken and brown for 4 minutes — both sides of the chicken.
Remove lime wedges, then pour remaining marinade into salad bowl with cinnamon sticks
Stir, then add 25 cl of hot water to the top and begin to cook rapidly – under pressure of cooko for 23 minutes.
Wash and peel the olives, put them in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil.
At the end of cooking, put your chicken on a plate and then grill it in the oven at 180° for 15 minutes.
Put your diced olives – on top of the sauce – in the bowl of your coco and start browning mode for 5 minutes, stirring to get the creamy sauce.
After 15 minutes, take out your chicken in the oven and place it in a vessel and serve it by pouring your sauce on top.
