Upside Down Cake with Caramelized Apples: Delicious Tenderness!
For many people, apples are the quintessential fall fruit.
And what better way to enjoy them than with a delicious cake?
This Caramelized Apple Upside-Down Cake is easy to make and a crowd-pleaser at your next fall get-together.
For the Caramel:
- 150 grams flour
- 150 g butter
- 140 grams sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 3 apples
First, preheat your oven to 180°, grease a cake tin with butter and melt the butter.
Then in another bowl beat the eggs with the sugar with a beater until they become white.
Add the flour and after adding the melted butter continue whisking on medium speed and whisk again.
Next add both the baking powder and vanilla sugar and then whisk to combine everything.
Preparation of Toffee:
In a saucepan, pour the sugar in an even layer, then over medium-low heat, to caramelize.
Meanwhile, peel the apples, core them and cut them into pieces.
Once your sugar is caramelized, pour it into the mold, place the apple pieces on top, and then pour your dough over the top.
Then put your mold in the oven to cook for 40 to 45 minutes, leave to cool for a moment, then turn it over on a plate, cut and serve, enjoy your meal.
