Quiche with Peas and Cabbage: It’s as tasty as it is spicy!

The pairing of sweet peas and earthy cabbage creates a vibrant flavor profile that will satisfy your taste buds without weighing you down. Plus, these vegetables add a vibrant splash of color to your quiche.

Component :

  • 1 shortcrust pastry
  • 250 grams peas
  • 200 grams cabbage
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 5 eggs
  • 150 grated mozzarella
  • 200 grams fresh cream
  • Salt
  • Chilly

Preparation :

First, preheat your oven to 200 degrees, butter a pie pan.
Spread your dough into the mold then let it flow down the sides, prick the bottom with a fork and pop your mold in the fridge.
Then put the peas in a vessel with hot water and keep them.
Chop the cabbage, soak it in a pot of tap water for 10 minutes, then cut the green part of the onion into thin rings.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl, then add the cream and whisk over the top with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Add mozzarella cheese and mix everything together then strain the cauliflower and peas.
Add the onions, peas and cabbage and mix everything together with the spatula, then take your mold out of the fridge.
Pour your preparation into the dough, spread it and fold the edges of the dough inwards.
Then put your mold in the oven for 15 minutes and then for 25 minutes at 180°.
