Soft potato roti, which is ideal for your afternoon snack or to accompany your soup, here is an easy recipe at home.
Component:
– 500 grams flour
– 400 grams potatoes
– 1 tbsp Baker’s Yeast
– 2 + 1 eggs
– 100 g soft butter
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Firstly peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, put them in a saucepan, cover them with water and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.
Then filter them and mash them with the help of a fork in a bowl.
In another bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and salt, mix well and then add mashed potatoes and mix everything by hand.
Beat 2 eggs in a bowl, then add butter to it and mix all the things by hand and make a paste for 6 minutes.
Take out the dough from the bowl, cover it, let the quantity of dough double, remove the dough from the gas, make balls and keep it for 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180° and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Beat the last egg with 1 Tbsp of milk, place your meatballs on a baking sheet, flatten them – you can use discs for round shapes.
Brush them – you can just brush them with milk like I did – then bake for 30 minutes.
