Recipe for lentils with vegetables ww. A delicious dish for evening dinner.

Ingredients for 4 people – 2 sp per portion.

  • 300 grams lentils
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 potatoes
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 75 g tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp dry carom seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Chilly

Preparation:

First, peel and cut carrots, tomatoes and chopped potatoes, chop the onion and wash the lentils.
First put the lentils in a saucepan, cover with water, crumble the bouillon cube on top.
Then let it come to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
Then filter them and keep them aside.
Put 1 tbsp oil in the pan and fry the onion on medium flame for 6 minutes while stirring it. Keep the onion aside.
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of oil, add carrots and fry for 5 minutes, then add potatoes and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Add the tomato paste, mix then add the tomato pieces, onion, thyme, basil, thyme, season and stir on a medium heat for 10 minutes.
Then add lentils on top and cook for 10 more minutes.
