Component:

For Pasta:

  • 180g pasta of your choice – I chose penne
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 150 grams mixed vegetables-carrot-peas….

For Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 24 cl of milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 75 g grated cheese: Parmesan, mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation:

Cooking Pasta:

Firstly, boil the pasta in salted water for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, filter and keep aside.
To save time, put the chopped vegetables in a colander and keep them on the pan while cooking.

Preparation of Sauce:

Heat a pan on low flame then add butter and flour and stir for 1 minute.
Then add milk, minced garlic and keep stirring for another 1 minute.
Then add cheese, black pepper and salt and stir for 1 minute.
Then add pasta, boiled vegetables, mix and cook, while stirring, for 1 minute.
