Delicious Carrot and Walnut Cake: A dessert for 6 people

- 250 grams carrots
- 200 grams flour
- 125 g sugar
- 125 grams butter
- 150 grams walnuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 24 cl cream
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
First of all preheat your oven to 150°, butter and flour a cake tin, melt the butter.
Then peel and grate the carrots, add baking powder and cinnamon to the flour.
Using a beater, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns white and doubles in volume, then add the melted butter and beat.
Pour the flour mixture in a thin stream, whipping at medium speed, then add the carrots and 50 g of finely chopped walnuts and mix with the marissa.
Pour the batter into the pan and put it in the oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
Put the cream in the freezer for 20 minutes and then beat it with a mixer in a bowl with icing sugar.
At the end of cooking, unmold, let cool then spread the cream on top and sprinkle with the rest of the chopped walnuts – 100g – Bon Appetit to all.
