- 16 cl water
- 2 sheets of gelatin
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
First of all pour water in a vessel, add sugar and mix.
Then keep the pan on medium heat without stirring it, once your syrup starts boiling remove your sugar syrup from the heat.
Add vanilla essence, mix and let it cool for a while.
Meanwhile put the gelatine leaves in a bowl filled with cold water and leave to soften for 10 minutes.
Squeeze the gelatin sheets, put them in the lukewarm syrup, stir them to dissolve.
Finally, using a brush, coat your apple pie with the topping while it is still warm.
