Sponge Cake for Christmas Cake: Soft, Easy and Impossible to Miss!

150 g flour
125 g sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp baking powder

Preparation :

First heat your oven to 180°, butter and flour a round cake tin, separate the whites from the egg yolks, add flour and baking powder.
It is best to use your pastry robot to make this sponge cake.
Put the egg whites with a pinch of salt in the bowl of your food processor, then beat them until stiff.
Once they harden, add sugar drop by drop without whisking, and then add the yolks and continue to beat at medium speed.
Then gradually add the flour mixture, beating on medium speed.
Once your dough is homogeneous, stop the robot and pour your dough into the mold and put it in the oven to cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
