Easy Apple Pound Cake, a delicious soft cake for your breakfast or snack, here’s an easy recipe at home.
Pound cake is a Breton cake that takes its name from the fact that it contains equal amounts of four ingredients.
The ingredients are flour, sugar, butter and eggs but sometimes we add a fruit just for taste, in this recipe we add apple.
Component:
– 3 apples
– 200 grams flour
– 200 g sugar
– 200 g butter
– 3 eggs – on the basis that the weight of one egg is 70 grams
– juice of 1/2 lemon
– 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
– Salt
Preparation:
First, preheat your oven to 180°, apply butter to a cake mold, wash and peel the apples and cut them into cubes.
Then melt butter in a pot and let it cool for some time.
Using your mixer in a salad bowl, beat the 3 eggs with the sugar on medium speed, then add the flour and melted butter in batches while whisking.
Continue alternating with a small pinch of salt and lemon juice, then add the apple cubes and mix with the spatula.
Pour your dough into the mold and put in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
To check if the cake is cooked, just insert a toothpick in the center of the cake, it should come out clean, otherwise keep cooking for a few minutes.
Let cool for a while, then unmold your pound cake and sprinkle icing sugar over it.
