Strawberry Granita: A refreshing and delicious Italian dessert

A classic Italian dessert that’s perfect for sunny days, and this version made with sweet and juicy strawberries is sure to become one of your favorites.
With its bright red color and icy texture, this granita is the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.

Component :

400 grams strawberries
16 cl sugar syrup
juice of 1 lemon

Preparation of Strawberry Granita:

Firstly, wash, peel and mash the strawberries with the help of a fork in a salad bowl.
Add lemon juice and sugar syrup and mix everything together.
Pour your mixture into a silicone cake mold and put it in the freezer for 4 to 5 hours.
Every hour, take out your mold, stir with a fork to make little crystals, and then put it back in the freezer.
Divide your granita into glasses with slices of strawberries, serve and enjoy your meal.
