250 g flour
10 ml milk
35 grams butter
30 g sugar
12 g fresh baker’s yeast
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
jam of your choice
First melt the butter, let it cool, heat the milk in a saucepan.
Then pour the milk into a bowl, crumble the yeast on top, add a pinch of sugar and dilute with a fork.
Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar, melted butter, milk and egg mixture, salt and vanilla essence and knead everything by hand.
Form a ball from your dough, place it in a bowl, cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rest for 60 minutes.
Flour a work surface, roll out your dough with a rolling pin and then use a bowl to shape your donuts into rounds.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your donuts on top and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180° then put your plate in it to cook for 12 to 15 minutes, let cool at the end of cooking.
Punch a hole in the center of each donut, then pour the jam into a piping bag.
Insert the piping bag into the hole and press lightly to fill your donuts, then sprinkle icing sugar over them, for everyone to enjoy.
