Biscuit with cheese and herbs, ideal for an afternoon snack or aperitif with friends, here’s an easy recipe at home.
Component:
– 125 grams flour
– 125 whole wheat flour
– 24 cl of whole milk
– 3 tbsp natural yogurt
– 1 teaspoon honey
– 50 g cold butter – keep it in the freezer
– 50 grams grated Parmesan
– 25 grams finely chopped fresh chives
– 1 tbsp baking powder
– a pinch of garlic powder
– 50 grams grated cheddar
– 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh rosemary and thyme
– 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation:
First preheat your oven to 180° and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Then mix all purpose flour, flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Add chives, rosemary, oregano, garlic powder on top and mix everything together.
Cut the butter into small cubes and then add and mix everything by hand to make breadcrumbs.
Whisk both milk, honey, and yogurt in a large bowl and then mix it by hand with the Cheddar and Parmesan in a salad bowl.
Make small balls out of your dough and place them on a baking sheet and flatten them by hand.
Then put your baking sheet in the oven to bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
